Department of Library and Information Science (LIS) is affiliated to Malawi Library Association (MALA) which managed to source funding grants from Norwegian Library Association (NLA) for the first cohort of master’s graduates (2014-2017). It is, therefore, our hope that the funding will continue to support needy students who are also members of MALA in the coming admissions of MLIS students.

Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship funds from National Council of Higher Education (NCHE) with an assurance that the funds will be reimbursed after completion of Bachelor’s Degree. Students who are interested to benefit from this funding scheme should download application forms from MZUNI main website or NCHE’s website and follow all the instructions laid therein.
